Hi all,
I thought a quick break from the 'Books I'm Not Working On' series was in order for today. Instead, here is a podcast I'm currently not in any process of recording.
Genre (?): Podcast
Title: Failure Potluck
Estimated availability date: This podcast is not available on iTunes, Stitcher, Soundcloud, or anywhere else you get your podcasts.
What is the secret to my lack of success? Some speculate I get asked this all the time. But these thought-leaders forget: such questions are considered taboo.
And so the exchanges often go more like this...
"Hey Tim, how are you?"
"Good, and you?"
"Fine, thanks for asking, and you?"
Everyone around me is buried under a pile of blown decisions, repressed misery, and soul-crushing existential angst. Always, the existential angst! The result is a constant low-grade suffering pushed deep into the recesses of the heart manifesting via plagiarized questions, false expressions of gratitude, and an insistence on the vital important of learning from every error.
It's time for the madness to end- NOW.
Enter Failure Potluck, the first podcast I won't actually do. Each week, I'll invite a loser of some kind on to the show and deconstruct his or her failures. Listeners of the show will gain a greater appreciation for the subtle skills necessary to fail in any domain: tongue-biting, knee-jerking, and many, many more.
The podcast will build up to a spectacular finale in which I will appear alone to dissect the failure of Failure Potluck.
